The Michigan State volleyball team has played all of its home matches in historic Jenison Field House since 1993. Built in 1940, Jenison was the home of Spartan basketball until 1989 and is where Magic Johnson helped lead Michigan State to its first NCAA Championship in 1979.

Jenison, which is currently the home to the main Spartan athletic department administrative offices, as well as MSU volleyball, women's gymnastics, wrestling and men's and women's track & field, underwent extensive renovations in 2001. The volleyball facilities were improved to include a large new locker room, an expanded training room, a larger weight room and an improved equipment room. The building also houses locker rooms for baseball, women's crew, field hockey, soccer and softball.

For volleyball, the court runs north and south to accommodate 5,017 fans. Beginning with the 2006 season, seating is available on all four sides of the court, including a special section of courtside seating. MSU has hosted NCAA Tournament games in 1995, 1996, 1998 and 2003.

Jenison Field House features a wooden playing surface that saw its first action during the 2005 season. Fans attending Spartan volleyball matches are treated to a truly spectacular event. . Fans can also get into the action with the "Ace" and "Roof" cards that are distributed at the door.

The Spartan Side Out Club, the official booster club of Spartan volleyball also attends games at Jenison, holding sales of Spartan gear to help raise funding for the Spartans. Side Out Club members line the court on match day and provide support for the Spartans at Jenison.
