EAST LANSING, Mich. - Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's Always Fresh premium blend coffee will be hot and ready for visitors to Spartan Stadium just in time for Michigan State's season home opener on September 2.

New this year, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop will be the official coffee served throughout all Spartan Stadium vending locations. Later this year, Tim Hortons coffee and select other menu items will be added to locations including Munn Ice Arena and Breslin Student Event Center.

Tim Hortons announced its entry into the Lansing market by sponsoring the 2007 Homecoming Game in East Lansing against the Indiana Hoosiers.

"Ever since we sampled our first cup of coffee, we knew that to be a part of Spartan Athletics was to be a part of the fabric of Lansing," said Mike Meilleur, Tim Hortons Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations. "We introduced our brand here, opened our first restaurant later that year and now operate more than 10 restaurants in the Greater Lansing area, plus our new locations throughout Michigan State athletic venues."

Michigan area Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurants will feature a special "Game Day Donut" every football Saturday throughout the season. The special Vanilla Dip donut is coated with green and white sprinkles. Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's Game Day Donuts retail for $.85 each, $3.99 for a half dozen or $6.49 for one dozen. Michigan State branded Tim Cards will also be available.
