Athletic Trainer (Football, M/W Tennis)

David Jager was hired at Michigan State University on Aug. 1, 2013. His main clinical assignment is assisting with football while also assisting with the oversight of men's and women's tennis.

Jager was an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, from July 2012 until his current appointment. He was involved with the daily health care needs of the student-athletes in the Hurricane football program.

Prior to his work at Miami, Yager worked as the Associate Athletic Trainer/Head Football ATC at Eastern Illinois University from March 2010 until July 2012, Director of Athletic Training Services at Radford University from June 2008 to March 2010, and the Head Athletic Trainer at Ferrum College from August 2005 until May 2008.

Yager completed his undergraduate degree at Grand Valley State University and attained his master's of science from Virginia Tech University.
