Destiny Teachnor-Hauk joined the Michigan State University athletic training staff in August 1997. She is currently the staff athletic trainer in charge of MSU women's gymnastics, with clinical supervision of the Varsity and Novice Rowing teams and the Jenison Field House Athletic Training Room. She is also responsible for yearly CPR certification of all Michigan State coaches and staff and student athletic trainers.
Teachnor-Hauk earned her bachelor's degree in 1991 from Nazareth College and her master's degree from Western Michigan University. Prior to arriving in East Lansing, she was an assistant athletic trainer at Washington University in St. Louis for two years. She then went on to be an assistant athletic trainer with football at Illinois State University in 1996.
Teachnor-Hauk has also served as an athletic trainer for the ESPN Summer Extreme Games and is the Michigan Athletic Trainers Society representative to the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association Women in Athletic Training Committee.
Her family includes her husband Kalman, and sons Trey, Storm, Xtreme, Legend Pain, and daughter Spirit.
