Erin Cazal joined the Michigan State University athletic development staff in 2010. With experience in the Annual Fund and Major Gifts, Cazal is now an Assistant Athletics Director and Senior Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship. She leads a team dedicated to the implementation of thoughtful and creative engagement opportunities.
Prior to her time at Michigan State University, Cazal worked as a lobbyist and political fundraiser at a multi-client lobbying firm in Lansing, Michigan. Originally from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, she graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations.
Cazal is active in the community and has served on the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan board, chaired the East Lansing Art Festival board and coached Masters swimming at the Michigan Athletic Club. She lives in East Lansing with her husband, Adrian and their four daughters.
