Laura Terry is in her first year as a Learning Specialist at Student-Athlete Support Services. She works with student-athletes on academic skills and strategies. She is also the liaison to the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities Office (RCPD), coordinating academic accommodations for student-athletes who qualify.
Prior to joining SASS as a Learning Specialist, she served as an academic mentor at Student-Athlete Support Services; taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Special Education in the College of Education at MSU; and worked as a technology specialist in a K-8 school district in Canton, Michigan.
Terry earned a bachelor of arts degree in education from Michigan State University. She has also earned a master’s degree in education from MSU and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology.
