Women's Tennis (3-13, 0-8 Big Ten) April 1 vs. Western Michigan: L 4-3 April 5 at Ohio State: L 4-3 April 6 at Indiana: L 7-0 Baseball (12-18, 4-8 Big Ten) April 2 vs. Central Michigan: W 9-6 April 4 at Northwestern: W 9-7 April 5 at Northwestern (DH): Game 1 W 5-2, Game 2 L 5-0 April 6 at Northwestern: L 16-7 Softball (36-9, 6-0 Big Ten) April 2 vs. Central Michigan: L 1-0 (15 innings) April 5 at Northwestern (DH): Game 1 W 11-1 (Spartans hit five home runs.), Game 2 W 6-5 (Pitcher Stacey Smith picked up her 20th win.) April 6 at Northwestern: W 7-5 Men's Tennis (7-11, 3-3 Big Ten) April 4 at Minnesota: L 6-1 April 6 at Iowa: W 5-2
April 5 at NCAA Central Regionals (Ann Arbor, Mich.): Finished fifth out of seven teams with a score of 194.70. Spartans missed qualifying for NCAA Championships by .425. All-arounders Jamie Elwell and Kristin Peugeot qualified for NCAAs.
April 5 at NCAA East Regionals (West Point, N.Y.): Victor Prisk won the still rings competition with a score of 9.825 and qualified for the NCAA Championships. Three other Spartans earned at-large invitations to the NCAAs, including Mike Phipps on still rings, Keith Douglas on vault and Ethan Sterk on floor exercise.
April 4-5 at Johnny Owens Invitational in Lexington, Ky.: Finished 14th out of 18 teams with a score of 911.
April 5-6 at Indiana Invitational: Finished 14th out of 17 teams with a score of 679.
