April 8: Defeated Oakland, 11-4
April 9: Defeated Grand Valley, 7-4
April 11: Lost to Purdue, 4-3
April 12: Defeated Purdue, 11-0 - Mark Mulder pitches five-hitter, goes three-for-four at the plate 
          with two HR and 6 RBI
April 12: Lost to Purdue, 22-3
April 13: Lost to Purdue, 5-4
Men's Golf
April 11-12: Fishished 12th out of 18 teams at Marshall Invitational 
Women's Gymnastics
April 12: Captured first place in eight-team NIT meet in Iowa City, Iowa, with team score of 194.375
          MSU won three individual event titles: Briony Lecky (9.925) on uneven parallel bars, Kristin 
          Peugeot and Becky Robinson (tied at 9.850) on balance beam and Polly Kiker and Erin Mullen 
          (tied at 9.900) on floor exercise
Softball
April 8: Defeated Penn State, 5-2 and 8-0
        Stefanie Noffsinger pitches complete-game shutout in nightcap
April 9: vs. Eastern Michigan (DH), ppd.
April 12: vs. Ohio State (DH), ppd.
April 13: Defeated Ohio State, 2-1 in eight innings and 3-2 in 12 innings
        Pitcher Stacy Smith won both games to break her own single season MSU record for victories 
        (24).
Men's Tennis
April 9: Lost to Michigan, 4-3
April 13: Lost at Penn State, 5-2
Women's Tennis
April 12: Defeated Iowa, 4-3 - MSU earns first Big Ten win of the season
April 13: Lost to Minnesota, 6-1

April 11-12: at Searay Relays (no team scores) - Sevatheda Fynes wins 100 meters; 
             Stephanie Dueringer wins 5,000 meters
