TICKET OFFICE INFORMATION


Ticket Deadlines:
In order to provide the best service possible to all of our customers, all deadline dates listed on ticket applications are absolute and final. Orders received after the deadline will not be guaranteed tickets or previous seating location.

Return and Exchange Policy:

     • All Sales are Final
     • No refund/No Exchange

An exception will be made to season ticket holders who return tickets to the Athletic Ticket Office the Friday prior to the first game of the season. After this time, no refunds will be honored. Individual games-if tickets have not been printed we can issue a refund. Once tickets have been printed, a refund or exchange is not possible.

Replacement Ticket Policy:
Please handle tickets with care. The Athletic Ticket Office will charge full price for replacement tickets. This includes tickets that are lost, stolen or left at home. If the original tickets are returned to the Athletic Ticket Office within 10 days of the event, a full refund will be given. This is available for all season ticket holders, mail and phone orders. It does not apply to tickets purchased from our ticket counter. Washed tickets will be replaced free of charge only if a seat location can be identified. Student Football vouchers will not be replaced for any reason.

Transfer of Tickets:
Season tickets are only transferable to a surviving spouse.

Change of Name:
Only a spouse's name can be added to an existing account. In order to add a spouse's name, customers must submit a request in writing with a copy of a marriage license. If wishing to remove a spouse's name, please submit a copy of the divorce decree with a written request.

Change of Address:
Customers must notify the Athletic Ticket Office of any change of address or phone numbers. We will not be responsible for any mail not received or returned due to incorrect address. Students in need of a change in address must do so through the registrar's office.

Admission:
All persons, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter an Athletic event.

Payment for Tickets:
Payments for season tickets will only be accepted from the season ticket holder of record. The Athletic Ticket Office will accept payments of Cash, Checks made payable to "Michigan State University", Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Full payment must be made at the time of order.

Ticket Requests:
All orders are subject to availability. The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics reserves the right to cancel, all or any part of tickets ordered and will refund accordingly.

Seating Requests:

     • Special Needs:
Customers needing special seating accommodations for an Athletic event should submit the request in writing with their season ticket renewals. Please be sure to indicate the type of accommodations needed and for which event.

     • Request for Seat Change:
Due to our demand for season tickets, all seat requests are difficult to accommodate. All seat requests are reviewed and every effort will be made to accommodate those requests. All written requests are reviewed based on donor level and continuous years of purchase. Priority will be given to those with special needs. Due to the volume of requests received, personal consultation will not be available.

     • Request for Additional Season Tickets:
Customers wishing to purchase additional season tickets may do so on their renewal application. Please indicate one of the following choices:      Retain original seats and place new seat(s) as close to original as possible      Together-all seats should be together, this will mean a movement in seat location to a less desirable area

     • Decrease of Season Tickets:
Customers wishing to decrease the number of season tickets may do so on their renewal application. We are not able to accept season decreases at our on-line ticket office. Please indicate which seats you would like to renew on the application.

     • Group Seating Requests:
Individuals with group requests to sit together should submit all orders together. Group assignments will be based on the application with the lowest priority.

     • New Season Ticket Holders:
New season ticket holders may make a seating request upon ordering for seating preference. Seat availability will be based on the renewal rate. We have been sold out, on a season ticket basis, for Basketball and Hockey for several years. For Football, most new orders are being located in the corners of the lower bowl and in the Upper deck.

Single Game Sales:
• Football-individual home football tickets will go on sale August 1st, based on availability. Ralph Young Fund donors will have an opportunity to purchase beginning in June. Season ticket holders will have an opportunity to purchase individual tickets beginning in July. Many games will be sold out before August 1st.
• Hockey-Bench seats may be available for games that are not included on the student season package. Once bench seats are sold out, a limited number of "Standing Room Only" tickets will be available. On occasions, a visiting school may return unused tickets prior to the date of the event. This generally occurs the week of the game.
• Men's Basketball-The Breslin Center has been sold out on a season ticket basis. Tickets may be available for games that are not included on the student season ticket package. On occasions, a visiting school may return unused tickets prior to the date of the event.

Mailing of Tickets:

  • All tickets ordered will be mailed via first class mail
  • Football season tickets are mailed during the beginning of August
  • Football away games will be mailed two weeks prior to date of event
  • Hockey season tickets are mailed during the beginning of September
  • Basketball season tickets are mailed during the beginning of October
  • All single game tickets will be mailed approximately two weeks prior to each game
  • Student Football vouchers will be mailed to a permanent home address.
  • Student Basketball/Hockey tickets will NOT be mailed.
  • Student individual ticket orders will be held at WILL CALL.

Will Call:
All orders placed within 6 business days of an event will be held in WILL CALL. To pick up tickets, customer must show a valid photo ID. The person ordering tickets must be the person picking up the tickets. Any alterations to this policy must be made in advance with the Michigan State University Athletic Ticket Office. The Athletic Ticket Office recommends that in order to avoid lines, customers should pick up their tickets at Jenison Field House prior to the day of the event.

Accessible Seating:
Spartan Stadium-Platform seating is sold out on a season ticket basis. We are able to accommodate barrier free requests on game day. Customers are seated on a first come-first serve basis.

Breslin Center-Customers needing accessible seating should report with ticket to Guest Services, located near Gate B. Customers are seated on a first come-first serve basis.

Munn Ice Arena-Customers needing accessible seating should proceed directly to the East side of Munn Ice Arena with their ticket. Customers are seated on a first come-first serve basis.
