Dantonio on Kruse: "David is an outstanding athlete who played quarterback for Coach Noel Dean at Lowell High School, which is one of the top programs in the state of Michigan. He's also a tremendous wrestler and an excellent student. David brings a Kyler Elsworth-like mentality into our program again. He'll start out at safety, and will play either safety or outside linebacker for us."
