The Future of Michigan State Athletics

Our growth is a result of the generous support of Michigan State alumni, fans and friends like you. We all share a common vision for Michigan State athletics. We want to be the best all-around athletic department in the Big Ten Conference and be recognized nationally as one of the most successful programs in all facets of intercollegiate athletics.

How Can You Help Make that Vision a Reality?

Investments made today in the form of new and upgraded athletic facilities will pay dividends for future Michigan State student athletes and coaches. Your help is needed as we build the future of Michigan State athletics.

Old College Field

Construction on the DeMartin Soccer Stadium has been completed!!

Phases One and Two for the Baseball/Softball Complex has been completed and is awaiting support for final phase to commence!!

Old College Field has helped MSU amass an impressive record over the last century, and we want to build on this record of success. Home to our baseball, softball and soccer programs, building on this past success will be closely aligned with the ability to renovate their facilities.

The New Life for Old College Field campaign, publicly announced by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in Fall 2005, is seeking to raise a total of $6-7 million for improvements to the baseball, softball and soccer facilities. Renovations will include new stands for all three facilities, centralized concessions and restrooms, a formal entrance way and plaza, a covered hitting facility for baseball and softball and outfield fencing at Kobs Field.

With the proposed improvement, each of our facilities will be eligible to host NCAA, national, and youth tournaments and competitions, enabling MSU to have a greater economic impact on the East Lansing community and expose youth athletes to a greater variety of collegiate sport.

We encourage you to support our Old College Field project.
