Representative ProgramThe Spartan Fund is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help spread the word about the benefits of membership and to enhance the relationship between MSU Athletics and the many Michigan State alumni and friends. There are nearly 7,000 loyal Spartan Fund donors and supporters of Michigan State Athletics, while there are over 450,000 MSU alumni across the United States. The Spartan Fund is not able to make contact with all alumni and fans of Michigan State so we are asking dedicated and connected Spartans to reach out and recruit new Spartan Fund members in their own communities. Volunteer today and help the Spartan Fund reach its goal of 15,000 members by 2015! What are the goals of the Spartan Fund Representative Program?
How can I help achieve these goals? We would like our Reps to reach out and maintain contact with Spartan alumni and friends in their communities. Hosting watch parties, game day tailgates and other social events are a great way to identify potential Spartan Fund members. These events are also a chance to talk with current Spartan Fund members about your passion and loyalty for MSU Athletics and why continued support is so important to the success of our 25 varsity programs and over 800 student athletes. Who can volunteer for the Representative Program? Any interested Spartan Fund member can volunteer to be part of the Representative Program. In addition to invitations to special events throughout the year, Spartan Fund Reps will receive unique incentives based on the amount raised through referrals.
