Swimming and Diving Celebrates 2011-12 Season with Banquet

The Michigan State swimming and diving team celebrated its successful 2011-12 season on Sunday, April 22 with its annual year-end banquet at the Kellogg Center.

Jarzen Breaks Varsity Record at Final Day of NCAA...

Michigan State swimmer Jacob Jarzen closed out the final day of the NCAA Championships with another solid performance, this time, in the 200-yard backstroke. Jarzen advanced to the final round in the event, taking 11th place overall with a time of 1:42.71.

Jarzen Places 11th at Day 2 of NCAA Championships

Michigan State swimmer Jacob Jarzen continued action at Day 2 of the NCAA Championships, hosted by the University of Seattle. The Spartan posted a qualifying time in the afternoon preliminary session of the 100-yard butterfly to advance to the evening's final round; marking the first time a Spartan has done so since 1996. In the finals, Jarzen finished in 11th place with a time of 46.47.

Jarzen Competes at Day 1 of NCAA Championships

Michigan State swimmer Jacob Jarzen opened up the first day of competition at the 2012 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday (Mar. 22) afternoon. The three-day is hosted by the University of Seattle at King County Aquatic Center. The junior took 46th place in the 200 IM with a career-best time of 1:47.91, shaving over a second off his previous top time.

Divers Compete at NCAA Zone C Regionals

The Michigan State diving team competed at the two-day NCAA Diving Zone C Regional hosted by the University of Indiana on March 8-10. Five divers competed for the Green and White, with seniors Sarah Clay and Jordan Jackson qualifying for the finals on the one-meter and Jackson also moving onto the finals on the three-meter board.
