Jarzen advanced to the final round in the event, taking 11th place overall with a time of 1:42.71. 3/23/2012 Jarzen Places 11th at Day 2 of NCAA ChampionshipsMichigan State swimmer Jacob Jarzen continued action at Day 2 of the NCAA Championships, hosted by the University of Seattle. The Spartan posted a qualifying time in the afternoon preliminary session of the 100-yard butterfly to advance to the evening's final round; marking the first time a Spartan has done so since 1996. In the finals, Jarzen finished in 11th place with a time of 46.47. 3/22/2012 Jarzen Competes at Day 1 of NCAA ChampionshipsMichigan State swimmer Jacob Jarzen opened up the first day of competition at the 2012 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday (Mar. 22) afternoon. The three-day is hosted by the University of Seattle at King County Aquatic Center. The junior took 46th place in the 200 IM with a career-best time of 1:47.91, shaving over a second off his previous top time. 3/13/2012 Divers Compete at NCAA Zone C RegionalsThe Michigan State diving team competed at the two-day NCAA Diving Zone C Regional hosted by the University of Indiana on March 8-10.
