Sixty-eight Spartans student-athletes were recognized for having a 3.0 or better GPA.


Spartan Divers Finish NCAA Zone C Championships

Sophomore Madeline Sewell advanced to the 1-meter finals.

Scored his best dive of 300.90 in the 1 meter dive against Michigan … Scored his best dive of 312.90 in the 3 meter dive against Michigan.

Recorded his highest score of the ear of 316.87 for the 1-meter dive v. Oakland ... Scored a 354.80on the 3-meter dive v. BG and UC ... He finsihed 18th in the prelims round with a score of 581.23 at the NCAA Zone C Championships .. He led MSU to place 24th in the 1-meter dive at the NCAA Zone C Championships with a total score of 239.15.

Recorded his highest score of the year on the 1-meter vs. Michigan at 319.35 ... Had his best 3-meter score at MSU against Ohio State at 321.00 ... Took 30th place on the 1-meter and 18th on the 3-meter at the Big Ten Championships ... Earned a 31st-place finish at NCAA Zone C Championships at the 1-meter and did not compete on the 3-meter due to injury ... Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

Led the team on the one and three meter boards ... Qualified for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships ... Season-best score of 299.18 on the three meter at the meet versus Oakland ... Won both the one and three meter board competitions at the annual Green & White meet.
