Junior: MSU Swimming and Diving Most Improved Player…Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 100 and 200 back…set MSU school record in the 100 back (55.27) at the Big Ten Championships, en route to an eighth-place finish…set MSU school record in the 200 back (1:59.27)…Big Ten Swimmer of the Week (Jan. 8)…Swimmer of the Meet at Hawaii, collecting five first-place finishes (100 back, 100 IM, 50 back, 200 back, 200 free).
Sophomore: First-place finishes in the 200 back (10/28 vs. Iowa), 200 free (12/9 vs. Ball State) and 200 IM (1/13 vs. Northwestern)...took second in the 500 free with a time of 5:12.66 at the Notre Dame Invite (12/2)...second-place finish and season-best time (56.71) in the 100 back (1/27)
Freshman: Qualified for the NCAA Championship in the 100 and 200 backstroke...finished 14th in the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke at the 2000 Big Ten Championshps...also competed in the 200 and 400 medley relay and 200 backstroke...set two Lambert pool records, one in the 200 backstroke (2:02.78) and the 200 individual medley (2:06.50) on 1/16...set a school record in the 200 backstroke (2:00.71) Dec. 3...earned the Outstanding Freshman award and a record breaker award for setting a school record.
High School: Qualified for Olympic Trials in the 100 backstroke...four-year letterwinner, who also lettered in water polo and track...a nine-time swimming All-American...NISCA National Champion in 100 backstroke...earned team MVP three times...finished second at the 1999 Spring Junior Nationals in the 200 back and eighth in the 1999 Spring Senior Nationals in the 100 back...earned Academic All-American honors in 1999.
