•Where were you born?
Buffalo Grove, Ill.

•What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I was ten I wanted to be...own my own famous restaurant with my best friend and cooked all the food. Now I want to be...the secretary to a famous and successful US Senator.

•What is your favorite movie?
Josie and the Pussycats

•Why did you choose Michigan State University?
I chose MSU because it wasn't maize and blue, scarlet and gray or in the middle of a cornfield in Champaign, Illinois.

•Who is your favorite MSU athlete of all time?
Muhsin Muhammad - Go Bears!

•Name one person living or dead, that you would most like to compete against?
Gandhi

Sophomore Season: Academic All-Big Ten ... Recorded the fastest time of the year for the team in the 400 IM with a 4:35.21 at the Big Ten Championships ... Posted the team's second-fastest time in the 1650 free (17:46.17), third-fastest time in the 1000 free (10:50.13) and the fourth-fastest time in the 500 free (5:10.54) ... Third-place finish in the 200 IM against St. Bonaventure ... Fourth-place finish against GVSU in the 500 free and the 1000 free ... Swam a 17:46.17 in the 1650 free at the TYR Invitational ... Swam her season-best time in the 500 free at the Big Ten Championships, swimming a 5:10.54.

Freshman Season: Placed fifth in the 500 free (5:24.85) and 1,000 free (10:59.60) in her first collegiate meet, vs. Minnesota (10/11) ... Swam her fastest time of the year (10:49.06) in the 1,000 free vs. Houston (10/31), to take fifth place ... Also placed fifth in the 1,000 free vs. Purdue with a 10:54.00 ... Part of the 800 freestyle relay team that placed seventh at the TYR Invitational (11/22) ... Appeared in seven meets.

High School: Four-year letterwinner...Three-time Illinois state qualifier...All-conference team all four years...All-sectional team all four year...three-time school record holder.
