A three-year letterwinner...earned MSU’s Most Improved award as a junior...an Academic All-Big Ten selection...competed in the 100 and 200 backstroke and 200 individual medley at the 2000 Big Ten Championships...competed in he 100 and 200 backstroke, the 200 individual medley and the 200 medley relay at the ’99 Big Ten’s...swam in the ‘98 Big Ten’s in the 100 and 200 back and the 200 individual medley. High School: A four-year letterwinner at Ann Arbor Huron High…an all-city honoree in 1996 and 1997...team captain as a senior…competed in the 100 backstroke (53.11) and 200 individual medley (1:57.59). Personal: Born May 28,1980, he is the son of Steve and Kathy Gendler…sister, Wendy, was on swimming team at Michigan…a mathematics education major. |
