Freshman Season: Recorded fourth-fastest times on the team in the season in four separate events ... Swam the 50 free (21.01), 100 free (45.69), 200 free (1:40.99) and the 100 fly (50.53) at the Big Ten Championships. High School: Four-year letterwinner for coach Mike Torrey at Zeeland High School ... Placed third at 2008 Michigan high school state finals in the 200 freestyle and took fifth in the 100 butterfly ... Earned all-state accolades in water polo in 2008 ...
