•What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I was ten I wanted to be...a veterinarian. Now I want to be...a psychologist or a lawyer.

•What is your favorite movie?
I don't have one favorite movie, but I like comedies.

•Why did you choose Michigan State University?
The campus and the swim team.

•How long have you been swimming?
Since I was 7, so 13 years.

•What are your hobbies?
I like to cook and bake, and I like to horseback ride.

Junior Season: Academic All-Big Ten honoree...Took first place in the 100 free vs. Ball State (12/8), clocking a time of 54.00...400 free relay team took first place in back-to-back meets vs. Purdue (1/12) and Michigan (1/18)...200 relay team swam at 1:39.02 to claim first place vs. St. Bonaventure (11/8)...Posted a varsity top-10 time of 51.97 in the 100 free at the Big Ten Championships.

Sophomore Season: Recorded a top-three swim in every dual meet except at Notre Dame ... Placed first in the 50 free (24.75) and 100 free (53.32) in season opener against Akron (10/20) ... Season-best 50 free time of 24.49 came against Illinois (10/21) ... Won the 50 free (24.59) versus Iowa (10/28) ... Notched a second-place swim in the 100 free (54.25) against Ohio State (11/11) ... Scored team points in three events, including second-place efforts in the 50 and 100 free events, in MSU's win over Ball State (12/9) ... Placed second in the 50 free (24.52) and 100 free (53.37) against Purdue (1/13) ... Closed regular season by winning the 100 free with a season-best time of 53.22 in the 100 free versus Oakland (1/19) ... Competed in five events (50, 100 and 200 free and two relays) at the Big Ten Championships.

Freshman Season: Member of the 400 free relay that took 11th at the Big Ten Championship ... Placed first against St. Bonaventure in both the 100 free and the 400 medley relay ... Finished third in the 200 free relay at the Ohio State Invitational.

High School: Earned all-district and all-state selections in 2004 ... Also earned Academic All-America honors in 2004 ... Member of the Ann Arbor Swim Club, Plymouth Y National Team and Michigan Zone club team ... Four-year letterwinner.
