Rusch Sets School Record On Day Two At Big Tens

200 freestyle relay sets second school record of the day.

Sophomore Season: Recorded the third-best time in the 200 backstroke on the team with a 2:04.42 and the sixth-best time on the team in the 50 backstroke with a time of 28.26, both at the Viking College Invite ... Posted the sixth-best 100 backstroke time on the team with a 58.85 and the ninth-best time on the team in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.88, both at the Big Ten Championships ... Academic All-Big Ten Selection.

Freshman Season: Posted season-best times in the 100 backstroke (58.21) and the 200 backstroke (2:05.22) at the Ohio State Invitational ... Swam in the 100 backstroke at the Big Ten Championship meet, finishing with a time of 59:29.

Prior to MSU: Participated at the 2011 Canadian World Trials as a part of the Olympian Swim Club...Attended Bellerose Composite High School in St. Albert, Alberta.
