Junior: Had season-best times in the 200 fly, 500 free and 400 IM at the Big Ten Championships...took first place in the 1000 free with a time of 9:35.84 against Eastern Michigan (11/10)...career-best time of 1:49.70 in the 200 fly at the Big Ten Championships...time of 16:09.77 in the 1650 free at the Notre Dame Invitational (12/2) was a season best. Sophomore: Qualified for the 2000 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 200 butterfly, finishing 16th at the U.S. Summer Nationals...competed in the 500 free, 400 IM, 800 freestyle and 200 butterfly at the Big Ten Championships...ranked 82nd in the world in the 200 butterfly by Swim News online. Freshman: Co-winner of the MSU Outstanding Freshman award...competed in the 200 butterfly, 400 IM, 500 free and 800 freestyle at the Big Ten Championships. High School: Swam for the Atlantis Aquatic Club and lettered at Easton Area High as a freshman...a league all-star and team captain...holds six team and pool records...qualified for nationals in the summer of 1998...a 1998 USA Swimming All-American in the 200 fly...a two-time scholastic All-America pick...1998 USS Junior National Champion.
