•Where were you born?
Detroit, Mich.

•What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I was ten I wanted to be...Firefighter. Now I want to be...brain surgeon.

•What is your favorite movie?
Bio-Dome featuring Pauly Shore

•Why did you choose Michigan State University?
Because it's an awesome place. The school is great, I liked the coaches, the guys on the team amazing. It was a great package, picking someplace else would have been dumb!

•Who is your favourite MSU athlete of all time?
Kirk Gibson

•Name one person living or dead, that you would most like to compete against?
George Washington

•Top 5 songs on your iPod?
I don't have an ipod, but if I did it most likely would be a lot of country and classic rock.

•Your favorite moment in the outdoor pool?
When Sho almost fell off the 10 meter or the taper Olympiad competitions.

•GREEN or WHITE???
A mixture of both resulting in a lighter green color.

•Discuss your favorite type of sandwich with the various accoutrements that you would place on said sandwich.
Ham, salami, bologna, lettuce, American cheese, lettuce, tomato (thinly sliced only!), extra pickles, Green peppers, onions, and Italian salad dressing. I would also enjoy the sandwich with an iced tea.

Junior Season: Posted the fourth-fastest time in school history and won the 50 free with a 20.44 at the TYR Invitational (11/22) ... Took first in the 100 free with a 46.90 and second in the 50 free with a 21.37 vs. Ball State (12/13) ... Placed third in the 50 free vs. Purdue (1/17) with a 21.44 ... Had a second place finish in the 50 free (21.12) and placed third in the 100 free (48.53) vs. Michigan (2/7) ... Part of the first place 200 medley relay (1:27.85), 200 free relay (1:21.27) and 400 free relay (2:58.65) teams at the TYR Invite ... 200 medley relay (1:33.57) and 400 free relay (3:07.23) teams also placed first with a vs. Purdue.

Sophomore Season: John Munley Memorial Scholarship recipient...Academic All-Big Ten selection...Posted three first-place finishes in the 100 free at St. Bonaventure (11/8) with a time of 48.27, at Ball State (12/8) with a time of 47.90 and at Valparaiso (1/11) clocking a 46.59...Earned two top-three finishes in the first meet of the season at Iowa (10/26) in the 50 free (21.71) and 100 free (47.73)...Competed in the 200 free relay at the Big Ten Championships (2/28).

Freshman Season: Scored team points in the 100 and 200 back and the 200 IM in season opener versus Iowa (10/28) ... Placed first in 50 free against Purdue (1/13) ... Notched fourth-place showing in the 50 free (21.70) versus Oakland (1/19) ... Competed in 50, 100 and 200 freestyle events at Big Ten Championships.

High School: Four-time letterwinner in swimming at Stevenson under coach Jeff Shoemaker ... Earned All-America honors in five events ... Also earned all-state and all-conference honors.
