Spartans Set To Compete At Big Ten Men's Swim/Dive Championships

MSU begins four-day competition against conference foes on Wednesday.

Sophomore Season: Academic All-Big Ten ... Made the team's All-Time Top-Ten list in the 100 backstroke (49.67), 200 backstroke (1:47.19), and the 100 freestyle (44.73) ... Recorded the top 100 freestyle time on the team of the season at the Big Ten Championship meet ... Part of the 200 freestyle relay that finished ninth (1:20.75) and the 400 freestyle relay that also finished ninth and swam an NCAA B-cut standard with a time of 2:57.33 at the Big Ten Championships ... Posted a season-best time in the 50 freestyle (21.16) at the Ohio State Invitational.

Freshman Season: Recorded a season-best in the 50 freestyle (21.11) and the 100 freestyle (45.53) at the Big Ten Championship meet ... Recorded the second fastest time on the team of the season in the 100 backstroke (50.02).

High School: Two-time state champion in the 100 backstroke at Wylie E. Groves High School...Elected captain his senior year.
