High School: Four-time letter winner at Groves High School...Selected as an All-American in 2011...Team won state championship in 2010, where he placed third in the 100 free and second in the 200 free...Placed second in the 100 free and first in the 50 free in 2011, where his team placed second in the state championships...elected captain in 2011...Placed ninth in the 50 free at YMCA Nationals and sixth in the 100 free in 2011.
