Michigan State Takes Home Tri-Meet Victories

Swimming and diving defeat Bowling Green and Buffalo on the road.

Freshman Season: Won Men's Freshman of the Year Award ... Finished 18th in the 100 freestyle at the Ohio State Invitational and swam his best time of the season at the Big Ten Championship Meet with a time of 45.81 ... Posted a season-best time at the Big Ten Championships in the 50 freestyle with a time of 20.93 ... Swam a season-best in the 100 butterfly (50.10) at the Ohio State Invitational ... Recorded a season-best in the 200 freestyle with at time of 1:47.34 at the dual meet against St. Bonaventure.

High School: Four-time letter winner at Groves High School...Selected as an All-American in 2011...Member of the team that won the state championship in 2010, where he placed third in the 100 freestyle and second in the 200 freestyle...Placed second in the 100 freestyle and first in the 50 freestyle in 2011, where his team placed second in the state championships...elected captain in 2011...Placed ninth in the 50 freestyle at the YMCA Nationals and sixth in the 100 freestyle in 2011.
