•Where were you born?
Chicago, Ill.

•What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I was ten I wanted to be...a nurse, like my mom! Now I want to be...a nurse...like my mom!!

•What is your favorite movie?
She's the Man, but this is just one, I have many favorite movies!!

•Why did you choose Michigan State University?
I really loved the campus, the dorms, and the team. To be honest I really don't know how I picked, I just did!

•Who is your favourite MSU athlete of all time?
Muhsin Muhammad...he played for the Chicago bears as a wide receiver!! I always watch the Bears with my dad!!

•Name one person living or dead, that you would most like to compete against?
There are many people that I would love to compete against...Olympic athletes, and just great athletes!! It would be so cool to just try and swim against Michael Phelps or Natalie Coughlin. But at the same time I love to compete against any great athletes in my mind(anyone who is dedicated to the sport)...many of my friends would fit into that category and I love to race against them!!!

Jumping off the 10 meter!!

PURPLE

Sophomore Season: Posted the third-fastest times of the season in the 100 free (51.81) and 200 free (1:54.57) ... Second-place finish in the 50 free against Oakland with a time of 24.27 ... Competed at the Big Ten Championships, posting a 23.92 in the 50 free, a 51.81 in the 100 free and a 1:54.57 in the 200 free ... Member of the 200 and 400 free Big Ten Championship relay teams ... Competed at the Santa Clara Invitational swim meet over the summer.

Freshman Season: Swam in every meet as a true freshman ... Part of the 800 freestyle relay team that took second at the TYR Invitational (11/22) with a 7:28.96 ... Against Houston (10/31), she was a part of the 400 medley relay squad that placed second with a 3:57.07 and 800 free relay team that swam a 8:03.05 for a third-place finish ... Competed in the 800 free relay at the Big Ten Championships (2/19).

High School: Elected captain her senior year...Earned All-America honors...Swam for the Express Swim Club.

Personal: Born Aug. 28, 1990 in Chicago, Ill...Daughter of Mike and Patty Piasecki...Nursing major.
