Junior: Member of school-record 200 medley relay team that finished eighth at the Big Ten Championships, along with Rudolf Wagenaar, Ian Clutten, and Matt Wisniewski (1:29.22)...set season-best times in the 50 free (20.80) and 100 fly (49.85) at the Big Ten Championships.

Sophomore: Member of 400 free relay team that placed eighth at the Big Ten Championships, along with Matt Wisniewski, Nick DeFauw, and Joe Brennan (3:02.27)...claimed first against Purdue in the 100 free (46.99)...teamed up with Mike Rigali, Nick Harley and Nick DeFauw to finish ninth in the 200 free relay final at Big Ten's (1:21.74)...anchored the school record-holding 400 medley relay team.

Freshman: Named MSU Swimming and Diving Freshman of the Year...set a personal best at the Big Ten Championships in the 50 free (21.38)...anchored the 400 free relay.

Prep: Four-year letterwinner...captain his junior and senior years...team MVP his junior and senior seasons...named Greater Lansing Area Swimmer of the Year in 2001...all-state his junior and senior years in the 50 and 100 free...set Capital Area Conference record in the 100 free...set varsity records in the 200 IM, 200 free, 50 free, 100 fly, 100 free, 100 back, 100 breast and all three medley relays.

Personal: Born April 26, 1983...son of Carmen and Kathy Saucedo...a policy and applied economics major.
