Junior: Set career-best times in both the 100 free (53.03) and 200 free (1:53.27) at the Big Ten Championships...placed fourth in the 500 free against Purdue (5:12.47)...Academic All-Big Ten honoree. Sophomore: Earned second-place honors against Eastern in the 200 free (1:57.22)...helped 200 medley relay team to a school-record-setting time at Big Ten Championships (1:44.37)...set lifetime best in the 200 breast (2:24.22). Freshman: Set season-best times in the 50 free, 100 and 200 back and 200 IM at the Miami Invitational. Prep: Four-year letterwinner...captain her senior year...earned all-league honors four times...earned all-state honors twice...an All-American her senior year...member of the Flint YMCA swim club for 12 years...a Scholastic YMCA All-American in the 200 free relay and 200 medley relay... also an Academic All-American...competed for the Flint Falcon Junior National team ...earned Athlete of the Year honors. Personal: Born Feb. 9, 1983...daughter of David and Pat Spaulding...a marketing major.
