Junior: Placed first in the 1-meter dive and second in the 3-meter dive at the Notre Dame Invitational (12/2)...first-place finish in the 3-meter (507.65) at the Big Ten Championships...also placed third (295.70) in the 1-meter at Big Ten?s...became just the third Spartan to ever win the 3-meter event...earned Big Ten co-diver of the year and All-Big Ten honors...winner of the Big Ten Conference Medal of Honor (female) at MSU...first back-to-back winner of the Big Ten Conference Medal of Honor since 1995...qualified for the U.S. Outdoor National Championships for both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards...won the 1-meter dive at the sectional qualifying meet (475.85)...one of only two Spartans to advance to U.S. Nationals.
Sophomore: Earned All-Big Ten honors in the 3-meter dive at the Big Ten Championships with an eighth-place finish...was an All-American in the 1-meter dive with a 13th place finish...finished second at the NCAA Diving Regionals in the 3-meter and third in the 1-meter to qualify for the NCAA Championships ...finished 17th in the nation at the U.S. National Indoor Diving Championships...earned MSU?s Most Valuable Athlete award ...earned Academic All- Big Ten honors
Freshman: Finished 12th in the 3-meter dives at the Big Ten Championships...finished seventh in the 1-meter (388.05) and the 3-meter (427.10) dives at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships.
High School: A four-year letter winner at East Kentwood...an All- American and All-State selection all four years...three-time all conference pick...named team MVP and team captain as a senior...state champion as a junior and runner-up twice...three-time conference champ and four time regional champ...named the school?s freshman girls athlete of the year...also dove with the Kent wood Diving Team...earned sixth at the YMCA nationals in 1995, sixth at the East Spring Junior Olympic Nationals in 1997 and 12th at the 1998 Junior Olympic Nationals.
Personal: Born April 26, 1980...daughter of Jeff and Peg Weiden...National Honor Society member...a child development major who plans to become an elementary school teacher.
