Swim and Dive Women Fall in Final Dual Meet

The Spartans were narrowly edged out by in-state rival, Michigan on Friday night by a score of 171-120.

Sophomore Season:
Academic All-Big Ten ... Posted the team's third-fastest times in the 500 freestyle (5:02.62) and the 1,000 freestyle (10.26.67) ... Posted a season-best in the 1,650 freestyle (17:16.17) at the Ohio State Invitational ... Earned a spot on the 800 freestyle relay that competed at the Big Ten Championship meet.

Freshman Season:
Posted the team's second-best times in the 1,000 freestyle (10:25.23) and the 1,650 freestyle (17:21.96) ... Swam a season-best time in the 200 freestyle (1:55.27) and the 500 freestyle (5:04.42) at the Big Ten Championship meet ... Recorded season-best times in the 200 individual medley (2:13.25) and the 400 individual medley (4:42.53).

High School:
Four-year varsity letter winner at Heritage High School in Saginaw, MI ...Named all-state her junior and senior year as well as team MVP...Four-time All-Valley team and state qualifier...Elected team captain her senior year...Named Tri-City Swimmer of the Meet her junior year...Placed seventh in the 500 freestyle at states her senior year...YMCA National Qualifier five years in a row while placing 18th in the 1,650 freestyle in 2009.
