Men's Swimming Falls to Michigan
Spartans drop final dual meet of the season.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's swimming and diving squad was defeated by the University of Michigan 138-95 in its first dual meet. The loss moves the Spartan st 0-overall and 0- in the Big Ten. MSU won only four out of the 13 events.
Leading the way for the Spartans were juniors Daniel Bacheler and John zBruesch. Bacheler won the 500 freestyle in 4:37.92 while Bruesch won the 100 breastroke in 58.45. Also coming up with wins for the Spartans were sophomres Chad Ganden and freshman Michael Tingley. Ganden won the 50 freestyle in 21.45 while Tingley won the 100 backstroke in 52.77.
The Michigan State swimming and diving team will compete at the Big Ten Championshipps in Minneapolis, Minn. on February 26-28.
