2012 Men's Championship Central Site | Live Stats | Schedule of Events The Spartans started off the day in the 500 freestyle, where sophomore Pat Falconer led the way. Falconer clocked in over eight seconds below his personal season-best in a time of 4:30.24. Freshman Tanner Roe and sophomore Brad Gillilan followed close behind with times of 4:32.56 and 4:32.63, respectively. In the 200 Individual Medley, sophomore Nick Roberts was the team's top performer, posting a time of 1:51.35. Mark Schramm was at 1:52.01, Hunter Bartlett at 1:53.38 and Mark Gammell closed out the pack at 1:54.47. Josh Geschwendt and Sam Schulze both dropped a second off their individual season-bests in the 50 Freestyle in a four-way tie with a time of 20.64. In the evening races, MSU came in ninth in the 400 Medley Relay. The squad of Jacob Jarzen, Cameron Bartlett, Bryan Williams and Nick McGowan improved by over three seconds with a 3:15.23 effort. On the diving board, MSU was represented by senior Brian Akers, posting a score of 224.70 on the one-meter board.
