BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The divers of the Michigan State women's swimming & diving team concluded the first day of the NCAA Division I Zone C Diving Championships on Thursday, March 9.
Sophomore Julia Oppedisano finished with the top-mark for the Spartans finishing 27th in the preliminary rounds of the three-meter dive with a final score of 236.45. Sophomore Heidi Surdyk was the next top-finisher for MSU with a final score of 229.55. Sophomore Morgan Wellenzohn rounded out the competition for Michigan State in the first day of competition with a score of 222.50.
Michigan State will have all four athletes competing in the one-meter dive preliminaries tomorrow, March 10. The preliminaries of the one-meter dive is set to begin at 1 p.m.
