Swimming & Diving Earn CSCAA Scholar All-American Honors
The men posted a team 3.47 GPA, the women posted a 3.44.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were awarded College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors for their performances in the classroom during the 2017 fall semester. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of a 3.0 or higher.
The men’s team finished the semester with a GPA of 3.47, which happens to be the highest semester GPA in program history. The women’s team finished with a GPA of 3.44, the highest fall semester GPA in program history.
A total of 688 teams from 430 institutions across the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA were recognized for their academic achievements. The Michigan State men accumulated the highest semester GPA of all Big Ten schools, while the women rank fourth.
