Upcoming Events: Thr.-Sat., March 19-21, NCAA Championships, Minneapolis, MN

ARCHAMBAULT HEADS TO NCAA: Senior Jami Archambault will represent Michigan State at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships this weekend in Minneapolis, Minn. Archambault qualified for the championships with a time of 55.76 on Feb. 20 at the Big Ten Championships. The NCAA Championships will run Thursday-Saturday, March 19-21, at Minnesota's Dorothy L. Sheppard Pool. Spartan divier Kim Zieman is the first alternate on the three-meter board for the NCAA Championships after finishing fourth at last weekend's NCAA Zone Diving Championships. Archambault is making her second-straight appearance at the NCAAs. Last season, the Flint native finished 15th in the 100 back to earn Honorable Mention All-America honors.

SPARTAN DIVERS COMPETE AT NCAA DIVING REGIONALS: MSU sent three divers to the NCAA Diving Regional, Friday-Saturday, March 19-21, in Oxford, Ohio. MSU junior Kim Zieman finished fourth on the 3-meter event with a score of 451.05 and seventh on the 1-meter with a score of 361.45. Also competing at the regional was senior tri-captain Amy Schlicklin and junior Ellen Jernstadt. Schlicklin finished 26th on the 1-meter (309.10) and 15th on the 3-meter (378.10). Jernstadt placed 21st on the 1-meter (316.40) and 26th on the 3-meter (351.35).
