EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State swimming & diving head coach Matt Gianiodis released the team's schedule for the 2012-13 schedule on Tuesday.
"I feel we have a very competitive schedule this year," said Gianiodis. "Thankfully we have a few more home dates than last year, allowing us to compete in front of our Spartan fans. We are looking forward to a tough fall semester schedule which should prepare us as we hope to improve on our Big Ten and national performances in 2013."
The Spartans open the season with an outdoor meet against Wisconsin on Friday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. as a pre-cursor to the football team's home opener against Boise State at Spartan Stadium.
Following the Alumni Meet on October 13 (9 a.m.), MSU host Iowa on Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. The following weekend, the women's team will be at Illinois on Oct. 26, while the men will host Notre Dame the next day at 12 p.m.
