EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's and women's swimming and diving teams travel to Auburn, Ala., this weekend to compete in the Auburn Tiger Invitational.

Both the Auburn men's and women's teams are defending national champions. The Tigers will field a complete team at the Invitational. South Carolina is scheduled to be the only other complete team, while swimmers from Ohio State and other unattached swimmers from across the country will compete.

The Auburn Tiger Invitational runs Dec. 4-6, with both a prelims and a finals session each day. The morning prelims will be swum Long Course-Meters while the finals will be swum Short Course-Yards.

The Spartans embark on their annual training trip December 29 and head to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. The team will compete against Rutgers and Miami January 2, 2004 in Miami, Fla., before returning to East Lansing.
