EAST LANSING, Mich. - Several members of the Michigan State swimming and diving team lent their support to the community by volunteering at the Lansing Salvation Army Store on Friday (Dec. 18). In conjunction with the Salvation Army and the Toys for Tots program, the Spartans helped sort toys and escort families who were picking up items for the holiday season. "We always enjoy this opportunity to make an impact in the mid-Michigan area," said MSU head coach Matt Gianiodis. "This activity is completely planned and organized by our seniors - this year it was Kara Wackerle. It is truly a very rewarding experience for our entire program."
