The Spartans concluded their final day of preliminary action at the NCAA East Regionals with two additional athletes qualifying for the NCAA Championships at Drake University.

NCAA East: Rohl, O'Connor, and Pryor qualify on Day 2

Michigan State's Beth Rohl qualified for nationals on her very first throw in the discus and Leslie Aririguzo broke her own school record in the 100-Meter Hurdles to set the tone for MSU on Day 2 of the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds in Jacksonsville.

Senior Profile: Aaron Ide

A key member and leader on Michigan State's throwing team, Aaron Ide found out early in his collegiate career that a strong work ethic will beat talent any day of the week. He's living proof of that concept, as he's an individual that has done all the work necessary to be successful at the collegiate level.

NCAA East: Pugh Dominates Day 1

Junior Lonnie Pugh claimed first place in the Men's Discus Throw to lead Michigan State on Day 1 of NCAA East Preliminary Round competiton in Jacksonsville.

31 Spartans to Participate in NCAA Regionals

A total of thirty-one members of the Michigan State Track and Field team will head south to Jacksonsville, Florida to compete in the NCAA Preliminary Rounds held May 24th through the 26th. The University of North Florida will play host to the competition at Hodges Stadium. It will be the first time that North Florida will serve as track and field hosts for an NCAA championship round.
