Bush Narrowly Misses Olympic Qualification, Places Fourth at U.S. Trials
Michigan State track & field All-American Nicole Bush ran the best race of her young career late last night, but finished just short of her goal of making the United States Olympic Team. Bush ran a personal best time of 9:40.27 in the finals of the 3000m steeplechase to finish fourth in front of a sold out crowd at Heyward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore.

Nicole Bush Gets One Step Closer to Olympic Pursuit
Michigan State All-American Nicole Bush was one of 14 runners to advance to Friday morning's final of the 3000m steeplechase last night at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trails in Eugene, Ore. Bush finished first in her heat and second overall with a personal best time of 9:49.53.

The dream of almost every American is to don the red, white and blue, and represent their country at the Olympic Games. Three Michigan State student-athletes will have a chance to fulfill that dream over the next week at their respective United States Olympic Trials.

Price Places 21st in 3000m Steeplechase at 2008 NCAA Outdoor Championships
Junior Sarah Price began action for the Michigan State track & field team at the 2008 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships tonight at Drake Stadium on the campus of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

Pelbart, Price Represent MSU at NCAA Outdoor Championships
The Michigan State track & field program will send two representatives to the 2008 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship this week, held June 11-14 at Drake Stadium on the campus of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Junior Sarah Price will make her second-consecutive appearance in the 3000m steeplechase, while freshman Zoe Pelbart makes her NCAA debut in the javelin throw.

Price And Pelbart Qualify For 2008 NCAA Track & Field Championships
The Michigan State track & field team finished up the last day of the 2008 NCAA Mideast Regional Championships at John McDonnell Field, on the campus of Arkansas, on Saturday night. Junior Sarah Price qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 3000m steeplechase for the second-consecutive year, while freshman Zoe Pelbart finished fifth overall in the women's javelin, automatically qualifying for the national competition. Spartan Track & Field Finish Day One of Competition at NCAA 2008 Mideast Regionals
The Michigan State track & field team finished up the first day of competition at the 2008 NCAA Mideast Regional Track & Field Championships, hosted by the University of Arkansas on Friday night.
