INDOOR: Placed 18th in the long jump with a distance of 6.53m at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (Feb. 23-24).
High School: Lettered in track & field at East Kentwood, where he was a four-time all-state long jumper and sprinter . . . set the school long jump record as a sophomore with a mark of 23-4.75, tying the national sophomore mark and a top 50 mark in the nation on all grade levels . . . helped East Kentwood to the Division 1 state title as a senior after finishing runner-up in the finals, setting the state record with a mark of 24-1.75, before it was later broken by the state champion winner . . . was third as a junior and runner-up as a sophomore . . . also part of state record-setting 4x200m relay as a senior . . . also played wide receiver, defensive back and kick returner at East Kentwood High School . . . named to the 2016 Associated Press Division 1 honorable mention all-state team . . . played for the West in the East vs. West Michigan All-Star Game, where he also earned the fastest player award . . . scored on a 97-yard kickoff return against Hudsonville and added another 40-yard return in same game . . . had a 20-yard TD catch against Farmington Hills Harrison in the season opener . . . had a 65-yard TD reception against East Lansing . . . had a 57-yard catch vs. Rockford, setting up a 21-yard TD catch two plays later . . . snared a 30-yard TD catch against Grand Haven . . . saw limited action at quarterback as a junior, throwing 18-of-34 for 220 yards with one TD while rushing for 49 yards on 14 carries with one TD . . . plans to major in business.
