Hill, James, and Veitenheimer lead MSU at Al Owens Classic

The Spartans captured three individual wins in the two day event.

Was a four-year letterwinner at Dexter High School for David Testa in both cross country and track & field ... Individually, turned in a seventh-place time of 15:58 at the state meet to earn all-state honors ... Was 14th in 2008 at the state cross country meet with a time of 15:55 to earn all-state recognition ... Received all-conference and all-region honors for cross country in 2008 and 2009 ... Team finished first at the 2006 Division II state cross country meet and was runner-up in 2007 and 2009 ... Earned all-region honors for track & field in 2008, 2009 and 2010 ... Placed third in the 3,200m in 2010 and seventh in 2009 to earn all-state distinction ... Posted a career-best time of 9:18 in the 3,200m and 4:28 in the 1,600m his senior year ... Member of the National Honors Society.
