2014 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Purdue University (May 16-18)
MSU won nine medals, broke seven MSU records & two meet records at the 2014 B1G Indoor Track & Field Championships.
• Pole Vault - 5.10m
INDOOR: Won the pole vault with a PR of 5.10m at the MSU-UM dual on Jan. 31
OUTDOOR: Season-best mark in the pole vault came at the Big Ten Indoor Championships where he finished 15th and jumped 4.95m (16-2.75)... Jumped 4.90m (16-0.75) on back-to-back weekends where he finished fourth at the Tennessee Relays and eighth at the Jesse Owens Track Classic.
INDOOR: Second place finish at the SPIRE Invite where he vaulted his season-best mark of 4.98m (16-4)... Third place finishes in the pole vault at both the Notre Dame Invite and Bob Eubanks Open.
OUTDOOR: Competed in pole vault at the Raleigh Relays, posting a mark of 4.60m/15-1 ... Placed seventh at the Spartan Invitational with a season-high mark of 4.78m/15-8 ... Pole vaulted for 4.71m/15-5f at the Hillsdale College GINA Relays ... Notched 4.63m/15-2f for pole vault at the Akron Campbell Wright Open.
INDOOR: Pole vaulted for 4.62m/15-2 at the GVSU Bob Eubanks Open ... Placed second in pole vault at the Notre Dame Invite with a mark of 4.95m/16-2f ... Earned a second-place, season-best mark of 5.00m/16-5 at the meet against Michigan ... Placed second in pole vault at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational with a mark of 4.95m/16-2f ... Notched 4.90m/16-0f in pole vault at the SPIRE NCAA D-1 Track Invitational ... Marked a 4.98m/16-4 in pole vault at the Big Ten Indoor Championships.
