Academic All-Big Ten Honors Announced for the 2011 Fall Season

Ninty Spartans student-athletes were recognized for having a 3.0 or better GPA.

2010-11:
OUTDOOR: Ran the 1500m in 4:52.69 at the Michigan State Spartan Invitational ... Posted a time of 4:54.24 in the 1500m at the EMU Twilight ... Placed fifth in the 3000m at the Lyle Bennett Open with a time of 10:22.81.
INDOOR: Ran the mile in 5:16.96 at the GVSU Big Meet.

High School:
Four year letterwinner at West Catholic in both cross country and track & field under coach Don Passenger ... An all-state honoree in 2005 and 2008 in cross country ... All-region recognition in cross country in 2005, 06, 07, and 08 ... Cross country conference champion in 2008, finishing with a time of 19:21 ... Posted a fourth-place finish at both regionals and state her senior year ... Finished first in her conference in both the 800m run (2:24) and the 1600m (5:19) in 2008 ...
