Ran unattached in the Jeff Drenth Memorial, finishing with a time of 16:15.4 ... Also competed unattached in the Spartan Invitational with a time of 26:11 ... Placed sixth in the EMU Fall Classic with a time of 15:39.8.

High School:
Was a four-year letterwinner at Dexter High School for David Testa in both cross country and track & field ... Individually, turned in a seventh-place time of 15:58 at the state meet to earn all-state honors ... Was 14th in 2008 at the state cross country meet with a time of 15:55 to earn all-state recognition ... Received all-conference and all-region honors for cross country in 2008 and 2009 ... Team finished first at the 2006 Division II state cross country meet and was runner-up in 2007 and 2009 ... Earned all-region honors for track & field in 2008, 2009 and 2010 ...
