EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's cross country team earned an at-large big to the 2013 NCAA Cross Country Championships as announced on Saturday. The women finished third overall at the Great Lakes Regionals on Friday with a total of 73 points and will join Caleb Rhynard who automatically qualified for nationals with a fourth -place overall finish.

The women, who are ranked sixth in the USTFCCCA poll, have now qualified for the NCAA Championships for the 15th-straight season, the longest active streak in the Big Ten.

Thirty-one teams were selected to participate in each championship. The top two, seven-person teams automatically qualified from each of the nine regions, for a total of 18 teams. Thirteen additional teams were selected at-large.

The NCAA Championships will be held at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center in Terre Haute, Ind., on Nov. 23. The men's 10K race will begin at Noon ET, followed by the women's 6K race at 1:15 p.m. ET.
