Spartans Welcome Northwestern For Weekend Set

The Michigan State baseball team begins the second half of its Big Ten schedule by hosting Northwestern in a three-game series this weekend at McLane Baseball Stadium. Game one will take place Friday at 3:05 p.m., while Saturday's game will begin at 12:05 p.m. On Sunday, the Spartans will host Military Appreciation Day with first pitch at 1:05 p.m.


Spartans Down Toledo, 4-2

A three-run first inning turned out to be the difference in a 4-2 Michigan State victory over Toledo on a windy afternoon at McLane Baseball Stadium in East Lansing. Cam Gibson went 3-for-4 from the leadoff spot in the lineup, while Blaise Salter knocked in a pair of runs.


Baseball Hosts Toledo on Tuesday

The Spartan baseball team returns home to face Toledo on Tuesday, April 22, in the first of four home games this week at McLane Baseball Stadium. The Spartans and Rockets will meet at 3:05 p.m.


Late Runs Push Indiana Past Baseball, 4-1

Indiana broke a 1-1 tie with three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning and went on to defeat the Spartans, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, Ind.


Indiana Tops Baseball in 12 Innings, 2-1

An RBI single by Casey Rodrigue in the bottom of the 12th inning gave 18th-ranked Indiana a 2-1 walk-off win over Michigan State on Saturday afternoon in Bloomington, Ind.
