2008: Started three games and made 14 appearances on the mound in relief...Went 1-2 with 21 strikeouts and 19 walks in 21.2 innings...started at LSU (3/4) and went five innings, surrendering six hits, two runs while striking out four...picked up win vs. Eastern Michigan (4/2) in one inning of relief work, surrendering two hits and striking out two...pitched 1.2 innings in relief vs. Michigan (4/18) and struck out two while giving up two hits and no runs...threw two innings in his second-longest outing of the year in a win over Western Michigan (5/7), striking out one.

2007: Academic All-Big Ten selection...led the team with 24 appearances...ranked fourth on the team with 24 strikeouts...compiled a 1-0 record and a 6.75 ERA over 22.2 innings of work...made 14 scoreless appearances, including a streak of 10 straight from March 18-April 15...struck out two in one perfect inning versus St. Joseph's (3/4)...fanned a pair in 2.0 frames in road win over Bowling Green (3/28)...credited with the win after pitching three shutout innings and striking out three at Indiana (3/31)...also struck out three in 1.1 innings of work against Penn State (4/14)...fanned two in a scoreless frame at UIC (5/9)...pitched both ends of a doubleheader versus Northwestern, striking out three over 2.1 innings (5/12).

2006: Tied for third on the team with 15 appearances, all in relief...led team with two saves...struck out 15 batters in 14.0 innings of work...after first three appearances, he went seven straight games without allowing an earned run (3/29-4/19)...struck out three and scattered two hits in 2.0 innings in getting the save vs. Eastern Michigan (4/5)...pitched a perfect ninth to earn the save against Western Michigan (4/12)...struck out three in 1.1 innings of scoreless relief in his final appearance of the season vs. Illinois (5/21).

High School: Played for coach Pat O'Keefe and collected four varsity letters on a Grand Ledge team that was ranked second in the state in 2002, 2003, and 2005 and finished eighth in 2004...batted .406 with six home runs and 42 RBI at the plate, and went 7-2 with a 1.70 ERA on the mound as a senior...earned all-area Dream Team and all-district honors as a senior...named all-conference as a junior and senior...quarterbacked the football team for three years, serving as team captain senior year...member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Dec. 14, 1986...son of Bruce and Kathi Dunn...advertising major...enjoys golf, music and playing the guitar...favorite team is the Chicago Cubs...names his father as his biggest baseball influence...pitched for league champion New Market (Va.) in the Valley League in summer of 2006...pitched for the Hays Larks in the Jayhawk League in the summer of 2007, going 2-0 with a 3.76 ERA...struck out 26 in 26.1 innings and held opponents to a .167 batting average...pitched for the San Luis Obispo Blues of the California Collegiate League in the summer of 2008 and did not allow a run and struck out 10 in 7.0 innings of action.
