2009: Led MSU in appearances with 22 ... Posted a 5.35 ERA and a 1-3 record out of the bullpen ... Had 23 strikeouts and 13 walks ... Picked up his first career save in his first career game as a Spartan, pitching 1.0 inning in a 4-2 victory over Connecticut (2/20) ... Held opponents scoreless in four consecutive outings from 4/22 (vs. Central Michigan) to 5/1 (vs. Penn State) - combining for seven strikeouts in 6.0 innings ... Picked up first career win by striking out one in 1.0 inning of work vs. Oakland (3/22) ... Twice struck out season-high three (vs. Bethune-Cookman 3/7 and Eastern Michigan 4/29) ... Surrendered just one home run all season.

Prior to MSU: Pitched at Daytona Beach Community College in 2007 and 2008...selected to 2006 State All-Star Game...2006 All-State honoree and four year letterwinner while playing for coach Eric Albright at Midland High School...led team hi senior year in batting and ERA...set record for most appearances playing for the St. Cloud River Bats in the Northwoods League in 2007.
