2003: Third-team All-Big Ten honoree...led the team in nearly every statistical category...named MSU's Offensive Player of the Year...blasted seven home runs and ranked first in league play with 31 runs...through the end of the Big Ten regular season, Gulick led the league in hits (78) and runs scored (60), and ranked among the top 10 in batting (.370 - seventh), total bases (136 - second), slugging percentage (.645 - fifth), on-base percentage (.435 - sixth), home runs (13 - second) and RBI (43 - seventh)...moved into the top 10 in MSU single-season history for runs (fourth), total bases (fifth), runs (seventh) and home runs (eighth)...ended the season on a six-game hitting streak...belted two homers over the Kobs Field scoreboard in left field, to go along with a triple and four RBI vs. Wayne State April 15...slammed two homers against Illinois May 3...went 4-for-5 in home opener against IPFW April 2...started first half of the season at second base and finished the season as the starting right fielder...opened the season at Centenary by collecting six hits, eight RBI and five runs scored, while collecting a career-high five RBI in the second game of the series.

2002: Sensational freshman season, batting .353 with six homers and 28 RBI in less than 90 at-bats...hit for a team-best .395 in Big Ten...blasted three grand slams...had a .434 on-base percentage and hit .424 (14-for-33) with runners in scoring position...hit seven doubles and scored 22 runs...first collegiate hit was an RBI triple at Charleston Southern (3/9)...went 2-for-3 and hit first career homer vs. Grand Valley State (4/10)...had four RBI in three games...had seven hits and drove in 11 runs in the Penn State series (5/17-19)...had four hits and seven RBI in Big Ten Tournament (5/23), including four RBI vs. Iowa (5/23).

High School: Played three seasons on varsity for coach Mark Pendred at East Lansing...senior year was named second-team all-state, all-league, team MVP and participated in the East-West All Star game...was also a second-team all-state selection as a junior as well as team MVP...hit .400 with 34 RBI and nine home runs as a senior...set school records for batting average (.555), home runs (13) and slugging percentage (1.18) as a junior.
