2009-2010 (Madison College): Played shortstop for two seasons at Madison College in Madison, Wis. . . . started 54 of 55 games in 2010 and hit .392 as the Wolfpack went 44-15 and advanced to the NJCAA Division II Junior College World Series . . . a first-team N4C conference selection, Scanlon led the Wolfpack in 2010 with 78 hits, 57 runs, 28 stolen bases and 14 doubles, and ranked second on the team with 58 RBIs and four triples; in addition, he compiled a .464 on-base percentage . . . in the field, Scanlon turned 38 double plays and recorded 152 assists, both ranking first on the team . . . in 2009, saw action in 30 games, recording a .325 batting average with 17 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
