SUMMER 2011: Played for the Outer Banks Dare Devils in the Coastal Plains League.

2011 (SOPHOMORE): Started 53 games in left field and played in 55 games overall . . . compiled a .260 batting average with one home run and 17 RBIs . . . collected 51 hits, including eight doubles, and scored 19 runs . . . ranked second in the Big Ten with 13 sacrifice bunts . . . hit the game-winning homer in the top of the 10th to lead MSU past Ohio State, 5-4, on April 15 in Columbus . . . excellent fielder made several diving catches in left field for the Spartans . . . had a career-high four hits against SIU-Edwardsville on March 5.

2010 (FRESHMAN): Started 12 games in left field and saw action in 34 games overall . . . hit .300 with one homer, two doubles and seven RBIs . . . scored 18 runs and had 18 hits . . . produced a .391 on-base percentage . . . went 3-for-5 with two runs in the 26-11 win over Iowa (4/4).

HIGH SCHOOL: Hit .451 as a senior en route to being named to the all-state Dream Team . . . garnered all-region, all-district and all-conference honors also as a senior . . . four-year letterwinner for Coach Dave VanNoord at Hudsonville High School as a junior, where he earned all-region, all-district and all-area first team honors . . . played in the 2009 Michigan High School East-West All-Star Game at Comerica Park . . . also garnered all-conference accolades as a sophomore . . . on the football field, he was named all-conference as a sophomore and junior and also was named team MVP as a junior.
